Matt Hardy has revealed he suffered a knee injury during his ECW title match last week in the UK.

In an update on an incident at Nashville Airport on Wednesday morning involving Jeff Hardy, it was reported late on Thursday that the Smackdown star was “intoxicated” prior to boarding a plane following Tuesday night’s TV tapings.

The news comes after Jeff’s brother, Matt, posted a blog update on Thursday which failed to mention the incident.
