- * Maria, Michelle McCool and Brie Bella beat Victoria, Natalya and Maryse. Not so good. No heat for it at all.

Its roundtable time once again here at WWEPreview.com and this week we’re debating the question: If Stone Cold Steve Austin comes back for one last match at WrestleMania XXV, who should his opponent be?
James Mustoe: Well the ideal dream match scenario with Steve Austin was always against with Hulk Hogan or Bill Goldberg. Since neither of those seems very likely right now I would want to bring Steve Austin to ‘give the rub’ to a younger star who would then be around to reap the benefits of the Austin program …

- Scramble match for the World Heavyweight Title: CM Punk (C) vs. Batista vs. Kane vs. JBL vs. Rey Mysterio.

by Joe Baker
Quick spoilers from last night’s tapings here in St. Louis:

Its roundtable time once again here at WWEPreview.com and this week we’re looking at the question: Has Mick Foley’s legacy been destroyed by his constant arriving and departing from WWE over the last 5 years?
James Mustoe: Being a fairly long-time WWE fan, I will always remember Mick Foley as one of the ‘big four’ - along with Steve Austin, The Rock and The Undertaker, that carried WWF through the attitude era from 1997-2000. Through this time the only thing that could have cheapened Foley’s legacy for me was his retirement …

Smackdown Taping
Airdate Friday, August 29
by Chris Baker
Pittsburgh, PA
- Prior to Smackdown taping, Jake Hager beat Jamie Noble and Funaki beat Nick Nemeth. Nemeth looked completely different from his Spirit Squad days. Hager looked terrible in his win over Noble.
- The Undertaker cut a promo in the ring. He said Vickie Guerrero was ‘Unforgiven’ and that he’d take her soul.
- R-Truth beat Kenny Dykstra. Post-production job required as Killings got very little reaction despite the cool buildup over the past month. Poor match as well.
- Maryse and Natalya beat Michelle McCool …
