They were released from WWE just over 9 months ago after an in ring and backstage altercation involving Lance Cade, Trevor Murdoch and a referee. WWE management were apparently upset with the way which a battle between themselves and the recently split up rednecks ended at a live house show.
But Cryme Tyme, made up of Shad and JTG, resurfaced on the March 31 Raw to defeat Cade and Murdoch. Recently, they’ve sided with top face John Cena as he looks to thwart JBL’s attempts to enforce martial law in Vince …

It was almost inevitable. One half of the equation was standing in the ring on Raw while his counterpart was drafted to Smackdown.
Edge, arguably the best heel in all the WWE today, won the Draft concluding Battle Royal to gift Smackdown two draft picks. One of those two picks was prominent face Triple H, arguably one of the best heels of yesteryear. The two champions clashed in a war of words in the opening segment of Smackdown ahead of the Night of Champions pay per view showcase.
The entertaining altercation, possibly …

I may never have left a show more excited. I may never have felt an adrenalin rush so high than when I left the sold out arena full of screaming wrestling fans. It was my first time I’d seen the product live.
Amazingly, I’m not talking about the first WWE show I went to a few years back. These comments refer to TNA’s explosive appearance at the relatively small Liverpool Olympia on Friday June 13.
I hate to be brutally honest where my love of WWE is concerned, but I far more …

He shocked fans everywhere when he intervened in the Chris Jericho/Randy Orton WWE Championship match at Armageddon last year. Just over a month earlier, Smackdown commentator John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) had claimed his in ring reunion with fellow Acolyte Faarooq as they teamed up to help Hornswoggle on Smackdown was for ‘one night only’.
JBL squared off with Jericho at the Royal Rumble and feuded with Finlay after claiming he was Hornswoggle’s father. He defeated the Irishman in a Belfast Brawl at WrestleMania but came up short in a Fatal Four …

Backstage at One Night Stand, Randy Orton encouraged Batista to reform Evolution.
He said: “You remember back in the day, Evolution right? You and me only dreamt of being on top in this business. Now we’re on top and not only that but we’ve got an opportunity tonight to take out Triple H and Shawn Michaels. You know there’s a draft in the next few weeks? There’s a chance we could end up on the same show as those guys. Imagine if we got the band back together. We wouldn’t be …

It looked like Jericho had come to reign atop the WWE world. It’s a shame he hasn’t been given that opportunity. Jericho hasn’t descended in to mediocrity but he isn’t doing as much as some would like …

Some fans are fascinated by the technical wizardry that Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho and the like can provide; others are keen on the theatrical aspect of the business and love the over the top characters like MVP and Santino Marella.
But as Sunday’s One Night Stand pay per view (PPV) approaches, you can’t help but get the feeling that for some months we have been watching the …

Randy Orton made a beeline for each of his Backlash opponents as the evening of the pay per view progressed. He confronted John Cena and Triple H about what he believed were their slim chances of beating him for the WWE Championship. There was only John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield left.
But Orton got a surprise when he knocked on Layfield’s locker room door that night. Wrestlemania 24’s Money in the Bank (MITB) winner CM Punk answered. For just a few seconds, you thought Punk would somehow intervene in the Fatal Four Way …

He’s a former European and Tag Team Champion but has battled through a host of medical problems just to get in the ring. The grappler looked to be standing tall as General Manager (GM) of Raw and the latest King of the Ring winner.
But his world came tumbling town when he was handed a 60 day suspension on May 20 for his second violation of WWE’s Wellness Program. Will he get …
