Wednesday news update: Another top WWE name to undergo surgery, Cena update, UK ratings and more
- Mr. Kennedy is set to have shoulder surgery this Friday and could be out of action for fourt to six months, according to PWInsider.com. As reportedly earlier in the month, Kennedy injured his shoulder earlier this month during a house show match with Shelton Benjamin.
Kennedy requires surgery for his torn right labrum (shoulder muscle) and rotator cuff damage to the shoulder. It was initially hoped that Kennedy could avoid surgery.
Dr. James Andrews is expected to perform the procedure.
- John Cena was backstage at last night’s Smackdown tapings visiting after his surgery earlier in the day. As noted yesterday, Cena could return in time for November’s Survivor Series PPV.
- Just a quick note regarding this website. At some point over the next week or so we’re going to be moving house and merging with the MMAPreview.com site. Although both sites are owned by the same company and people, there are a few reasons behind the move - the primary one being that we feel things will work better housed together. We’ll have an update on things in the next few days.
